This maple leave was found at our home in Sioux Falls, SD. He is bold with his black and red tones and structure. He really shows off in the sun and bright light when you can see all the deep color variations within. I finished painting him the day before we went to watch our high school football team - the Brandon Valley Lynx - play and WIN the state football championship in the fall of 2025. That’s where he got his name. He also happens to be our high school colors - red and black.
