Green & Goldleaf
$250.00

I picked up this maple leaf on one of my daily walks through my neighborhood in Sioux Falls, SD. What drew me to this leaf was the bold, rich colors. Even though, I’m not a Green Bay Packers fan, I have always been a fan of how well green and gold go together. I also happened to finish this particular painting while watching a Green Bay Packers football game. Isn’t that ironic?

Southern Charm
$250.00

I found the leaf for this painting while we were at our house in Texas. I love walking the streets of our Fort Worth home to look at all the beautiful houses as well as the trees. I love the shape of this leaf. It’s a maple leaf but very different from the maple leaves I find in South Dakota. In addition to the shape of the leaf, what I love about this particular piece is the rich, red hues combined with the deep teal green background. She got her name because she was found and created in the great state of Texas.

It’s Still Fall Y’all
$250.00

We were in Texas in mid December and it still felt like fall, not winter, there. (Note: That’s how this piece got her name.) As I walked the streets of our Fort Worth neighborhood, the leaves were just starting to fall from the trees. I found the leaf I painted in this particular piece on our street in the historic Fairmount neighborhood. I believe it is from a cottonwood tree. What drew me to this leaf were the polka dots (aka: mold spots). I just think they are so fun and add such character!
