The name for this piece - Extending an Olive Branch - came to me before my paintbrush even touched the panel. Sometimes life’s circumstances have a way of making their way into art and this was one of those times. This piece, it’s subject matter and calming color palette feels as if it’s offering a quiet gesture of peace. It serves as a good reminder that extending grace, kindness and understanding doesn’t have to be grand - it just needs to be heartfelt and sincere.
