Painting the funky fruit pieces in this collection has been so much fun for me. These fruit pieces are freer and looser than my traditional work, and creating this series has felt energizing in the best way. Fruit is just so pretty - so unique, so full of color - and honestly, I’d much rather paint it than eat it. The irony? I don’t eat any fruit, yet I want to paint all of it. Go figure.
9x12 - 246 lb White Linen Paper
Mixed Media - Acrylic & Oil Pastels
