Meet Bernie! I believe she came from a cottonwood tree. She got her name because I thought that the rust/brown areas looked a bit like they were burnt. Side note: I also had a dance teacher from my childhood named Bernie. Bonus for the name. Anyway, I love her distinctive marks, overall shape, golden glow and the pretty purple background. She’s a cutie.
